Applebee Montessori Academy, established in 2019, is an esteemed early childhood education institution located at 1770 N Stonebridge Drive in McKinney, Texas. The academy was established by Mrs. Sonia and Mr. Lalit Sharma, who bring a wealth of academic and professional expertise to their educational endeavors. Mrs. Sonia holds master’s degrees in accounting and English, providing a solid foundation in financial management. Mr. Lalit earned master’s degrees in computer science and economics, equipping him with a strong analytical and technological background. They sent their own children to Montessori schools and that is where their passion for the Montessori philosophy comes from. “Seeing our own children flourish in the prepared environment of Montessori schools made us realize that we wanted to have a bigger part in the education of young children in our community. We believe that all children deserve access to a high-quality preschool education, as this lays the foundation for future success.  We are very family oriented and take pride in treating all our Applebee families and teachers like our own” Together, they have expanded their vision by establishing multiple Montessori schools across the northern Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area. In addition to their work in education, they are also involved in commercial real estate development.
